As you'll see in these images, it was a very wet day, but it was made brighter by being able to escort Spc. Young and his family to their new home.
2022 AMVETS and AMVETS Riders National Convention
New Orleans, La Aug. 16 - Aug 22, 2022
Ten Riders made the trip of 1698 miles round trip. We stopped in Montgomery, Al for the night going down and in Opelika, Al on the way home.
Learned a lot about what is going on Nationally, as well as took in some training to learn how to run our own meetings better.
Of course, after the meetings, we had to go see Bourbon St and see some more of New Orleans.
